Specificity | This antibody recognises human FANCM (other species were not tested but there is high sequence conservation). FANCM is a part of a larger FA (Fanconi anemia) complex. It is engaged in DNA repair, resistance to DNA cross-linking drugs and prevention of chromosomal breakage. |

(2017) also performed western blot analysis detecting FANCM with this antibody. IHC: FANCM in human testicular sections was visualised by the CV5.1 antibody (Kasak et al., 2018). |
