Key features and details | |
Cat. No. | MABL-1489 |
Name | Anti-Endosialin mAbs |
Clone No. | AFD- FB5 |
From | Recombinant Antibody |
Isotype | Engineer antibody |
Application | IP, SFA, WB, IHC |
Species Reactivity | Human |
Basic Information | |
Specificity | Endosialin is not expressed in normal human tissues. FB5 is reactive to cultured fibroblasts and neuroblastoma cell lines, and tumour vascular endothelial cells. |
Alternative Name | CD248; FB5; tumor endothelial marker 1 |
UniProt | Q9HCU0 |
Immunogen | BALB/cxA F1 mice were immunised with human fibroblasts with subsequent production and screening of hybridoma cells |
Application Notes | FB5 was used in immunohistochemistry experiments to determine the distribution of endosialin in cultured human cells and normal adult tissues (Rettig et al, 1992). FB5 was used in immunoprecipitation and Western blotting to characterise endosialin (Rettig et al, 1992). In hemadsorption rosetting assays with LA1-5s cells the concentration of FB5 required for 50% rosetting was determined as 3 ng/ml. |
