Specificity | The antibody binds progesterone and also has strong affinity for 5β and 5α- dihydroprogesterone with 30 and 20% of cross-reactivity, respectively. Progesterone is an endogenous steroid and progestogen sex hormone involved in the menstrual cycle, pregnancy, and embryogenesis of humans and other species. |
