Recombinant Antibody
Specificity
The antibody is specific for CD99. CD99 is a type I transmembrane glycoprotein with a molecular weight of 32kDa. CD99 is involved in the process of cell adhesion and apoptosis. It is produced by thymocytes and T cells. It plays an important role in the interaction between cells and extracellular matrix and between cells and cells, and affects the development and metastasis of tumor cells.
Alternative Names
CGMCC NO.22316; CD99 antigen; 12E7; E2 antigen; Protein MIC2; T-cell surface glycoprotein E2; O13
UniProt

Immunogen
The original antibody was generated by immunizing BALB/c mice with CD99.
Application Notes
The antibody specifically detected CD99 by Western blot analysis. The antibody 10D2A10F9 and the commercial antibody O13 were used to stain ovarian granulosa cell tumor and primitive neuroectodermal tumor. Results showed the antibody specificity is comparable to the commercial antibody. Further, the sensitivity of the antibody 10D2A10F9 was higher than the commercial antibody. The antibody and the commercially available antibody O13 were simultaneously detected on the normal tissue chip, indicating that the specificity of the antibody in normal tissue was equivalent to that of the commercially available antibody (CN113929783A).
