The original antibody was raised by immunizing a BALB/c mouse with CD66e.
Application Notes
The original version of this antibody was used for flow cytometry on human colorectal cancer cell lines (Ray et al., 2012; PMID:22606209). Furthermore while studying human colorectal carcinomas, this antibody was used for immunohistochemistry on colon tumor sections. This antibody was also used for western blot on normal murine colon cell lysates and transformed colon cells lysates (McNeil et al., 2016; PMID:27750367).

Note on publication
The original paper studied the establishment of tumor initiating colon cancer ultra- low passage cell lines by a combination of gentle mechanical, enzymatic dissociation, spheroid formation, and followed by two generation xenografts from fresh tumors obtained at time of operation.
