From
Recombinant Antibody
Specificity
This antibody binds human CD3e. It is part of TCR-CD3 complex present on T-lymphocyte cell surface that plays an essential role in adaptive immune response. It also plays a role in signal transduction during T cell development and in correct T-cell development.
Alternative Names
T3E; T-cell surface glycoprotein CD3 epsilon chain; T-cell surface antigen T3/Leu-4 epsilon chain; CD3-ε; CGMCC NO 21980; SP7
UniProt

Immunogen
The original antibody was generated by immunizing BALB/c mice with recombinant human CD3 antigen (amino acids 23-126).
Application Notes
This binding specificity of this antibody for human CD3e was checked using ELISA. The affinity constant of the original IgG2a antibody was determined to be 1.92×10^9 M^(-1). This antibody can recognize human CD3e recombinant protein in an immunoblot assay. This antibody is similar to commercially available anti-CD3 antibody SP7 in immunohistochemical staining of T cell lymphomas. This antibody can also be used for the immunohistochemical staining of normal tissues like brain, heart, cerebellum, esophageal, adrenal, stomach, ovary, small intestine, pancreatic, colorectal, paratony gland, liver, pituitary, salivary gland, testicular, kidney, thyroid, prostate, breast, uterus, spleen , Bladder, tonsil, skeletal muscle, thymus (young children), skin, bone marrow, peripheral nerve, lung and melodder cells (CN111363043).
