The original antibody was generated by immunizing NZW x BXSB mice with bovine heart cardiolipin.
Application Notes
The specificity of the original format of the antibody was confirmed by ELISA analysis. The dissociation constants of the original format of the antibody, recombinant scFv fragments, and the light chain were determined by an ELISA method. The dissociation constants of these preparations were virtually identical : 20 nM for the original format of the antibody, 18.7 nM for the scFv format, and 21 nM for the light chain (Pereira et al., 1998; PMID: 9477972).
