The original antibody was generated by fusion of the myeloma line Y3/Ag1.2.3 with spleen cells from a DA rat immunized with human cells.
Application Notes
YTH470.5 was used for IF, Activation (via complement mediated cell lysis), and WB as part of the testing performed in its original article (Bindon et al., 1988; PMID: 2973413). This antibody was also used as a positive control for blocking, as measured by FC, to analyze integrin expression on the surface of primary cultures of human airway smooth muscle cells (Freyer et al., 2001; PMID: 11713098).Furthermore, it was used as a primary monoclonal antibody in the immunocytochemistry analysis — IF, specifically — of human neuronal stem cells (Lee et al., 2005; PMID: 15607744).
