Specificity
This antibody binds human B7-H4, which inhibits T cell proliferation and causes secretion of IL-2. It is overexpressed in breast, ovarian, endometrial, renal cell (RCC) and non-small-cell lung cancers (NSCLC).

The original antibody was generated by immunizing BALB/c mice with recombinant human B7-H4 as immunogen.
Application Notes
The binding specificity of this antibody towards B7-H4 was determined using ELISA. This antibody was used to screen B7-H4 positive human breast adenocarcinoma cell lines SKBR-3 using flow cytometry (US20180118831; Epstein Alan, 2013- B7-H4 as a Target for Breast Cancer Immunotherapy)
