Key features and details | |
Cat. No. | MABL-203 |
Name | Anti-ZNF423 mAbs |
Clone No. | AFD-N328B/37R |
From | Recombinant Antibody |
Isotype | Engineer antibody |
Application | ICC, WB, IHC |
Species Reactivity | Human, Mouse |
Basic Information | |
Specificity | This antibody is specific for ZNF423. The antibody does not cross-react with ZNF521. ZNF423 is a transcription factor that can both act as an activator or a repressor depending on the context. Plays a central role in BMP signaling and olfactory neurogenesis. |
Alternative Name | Zinc finger protein 423; Olf1/EBF-associated zinc finger protein; hOAZ; Smad- and Olf-interacting zinc finger protein; N328B/37 |
UniProt | Q2M1K9 |
Immunogen | This antibody was raised against a fusion protein of amino acids 1-180 of human ZNF423 |
Application Notes | This antibody is recommended for detection and analysis of ZNF423 by immunocytochemistry, immunohistochemistry or western blot. For instance, the mouse version of this antibody was used to detect ZNF423 by western blot in s crude low-speed pellet fractions from adult rat brain and neonate wild-type (WT) and nur12 (ZNF423 knockout or KO) mouse cerebella. Furthermore it was used to detect ZNF423 by immunocytochemistry in embryonic wild-type (WT) and nur12 (ZNF423 knockout) mouse cerebella. |
Antibody First Published | Andrews et al. A toolbox of IgG subclass-switched recombinant monoclonal antibodies for enhanced multiplex immunolabeling of brain eLife. 2019; 8: e43322. PMID:30667360 |
Note on publication | Describes the generation of a library of recombinant monoclonal antibodies (R- mAbs) from a pool of mAb-producing hybridomas for neuroscience research. |
