Key features and details | |
Cat. No. | MABL-116 |
Name | Anti-TRIP8b (exon 4) mAbs |
Clone No. | AFD-N212/3 |
From | Recombinant Antibody |
Isotype | Engineer antibody |
Application | IP, WB, IHC |
Species Reactivity | Rat, Human, Mouse |
Basic Information | |
Specificity | This antibody is specific for exon 4 of TRIP8b. It does not cross react with TRIP8b isoforms containing 1a, 1b or 2. TRIP8b is an accessory subunit of hyperpolarization-activated cyclic nucleotide- gated (HCN) channels, regulating their cell-surface expression and cyclic nucleotide dependence. |
Alternative Name | N212/3R; PEX5-related protein; PEX5-like protein; Peroxin-5-related protein; TPR-containing Rab8b-interacting protein; Tetratricopeptide repeat-containing Rab8b-interacting protein; Pex5Rp |
UniProt | Q925N3 |
Immunogen | This antibody was raised by immunising BALB/c mice with a fusion protein amino acids 1-192 (exon 1a, exon 4 and constant region) of rat TRIP8b. |
Application Notes | Immunohistochemistry was preformed on the brains of mice by using this antibody (Foote et al, 2019; PMID:31492750). The antibody was used for immunoprecipitation on HEK293T cells (Foote et al, 2019; PMID:31492750). This antibody was used for western blotting on the proteins from rat brains (Zhou et al, 2015; PMID:25301101) |
