The original antibody was isolated from a human naïve scFv phage display library by panning it against purified human CD9-ECL2 protein.
Application Notes
The binding of this antibody to CD9 expressed on different cancer cell lines like 2774 cells, U031 cells, ANBL-6 cells, 293E cells was tested using flow cytometry (US8197809). The epitope characterization of this antibody for fragment of CD9-ECL2 was measured using ELISA. This antibody significantly inhibited invasion of 2774 (ovarian adenocarcinoma cell line) cells and further inhibited migration and proliferation of 2774 cells (US8197809).
