Immunogen | Single chain variable fragment (scFv)-displaying phages from the IONTAS phage library λ with a phage diversity of 1.6・10^10 were used to select scFvs, which bind biotinylated α-latrotoxin from the Mediterranean black widow spider (L. tredecimguttatus). Three rounds of selections were performed to enrich the pool of phages with high affinity to the toxin. |
Application Notes | TPL0029_02_G9 antibody was demonstrated to have high affinity towards the alpha-Latrotoxin from the venom of Latrodectus tredecimguttatus (Mediterranean black widow spider) via ELISA.This antibody is recommended for the research on the antitoxin against Latrodectus tredecimguttatus spider bites. |
