Basic Information | |
Specificity | This antibody is specific for Marburg virus nucleoprotein. |
Alternative Name | mo_HC_MARV_NP; Marburg virus nucleocapsid protein |
UniProt | P27588 |
Immunogen | This antibody was raised by immunising BALB/c mice against Marburg virus. |
Application Notes | This antibody has been used to detect nucleoprotein in western blot analysis of HuH7 cells infected with Marburg virus (Hempel et al, 2017). The ability of this antibody to bind naïve Marburg virus nucleoprotein has been confirmed in ELISA analysis (Hempel et al, 2017). In immunofluorescence analysis of infected cells, this antibody is able to identify viral inclusion bodies formed as a result of nucleoprotein accumulation (Hempel et al, 2017). |
