Immunogen | The original antibody was generated by immunizing New Zealand white rabbits with recombinant human IL-5 protein. |
Application Notes | The original rabbit IgG antibody binds human IL-5 with a high affinity and has a dissociation constant (Kd) of 4.03 nM. A combination of 16D2 and 24A10 can be used in a double antibody sandwich ELISA, where 16D2 is used as a capture antibody and 24A10 is used as a detection antibody. The sensitivity of human IL-5 detection for this pair was reported to be 0.885pg/mL (CN115819578). |
