Specificity | This antibody specifically binds human IL-21, a cytokine with immunoregulatory activity. It promotes the transition between innate and adaptive immunity. Induces the production of IgG1 and IgG3 in B-cells. IL-21 has potent anti-tumor activity. It is implicated in the generation and maintenance of T follicular helper (Tfh) cells and the formation of germinal-centers. Together with IL6, control the early generation of Tfh cells and are critical for an effective antibody response to acute viral infection |

Application Notes | This antibody can be used for the detection of human IL-21 using ELISA. A combination of antibodies 3G6D7 and 13A6G6 can be used in a double antibody sandwich ELISA, where 3G6D7 is used as a capture antibody and 13A6G6 is used as a detection antibody (CN117069840B). |
