Application Notes | The kinetic constant of the humanized, affinity matured Fab version of the antibody was measured by KinExA (Kd= 1 pM). The binding affinity of the Fab fragment to Ghrelin was measured by surface plasmon resonance (Kd= 2 pM). Rats were injected with human ghrelin and their food consumption was measured. Results showed that if the humanized Fab version of the antibody was administrated, their food consumption was effectively reduced (US7479271). |
