The original antibody was raised by immunizing a mouse with human CD40.
Application Notes
The original antibody was used for flow cytometry on B-NHL cells (Pantoja-Escobar et al, 2019; PMID:30277117), and on B cells from cynomolgus monkeys. The use of this antibody allowed for CD20-independent identification of a highly pure B-cell population (Mao et al., 2013; PMID:24265828). This antibody was used in flow cytometry for DC phenotype analysis of PBMCs and DCs (Wang et al., 2022; PMID:35149692). This antibody was used for immunofluorescence on human pancreatic islets. This antibody was able to show CD40 expression on these cells (Klein et al., 2005; PMID:15690148).
