This antibody recognises human CD20, which is a B-lymphocyte-specific membrane protein that plays a role in the regulation of cellular calcium influx necessary for the development, differentiation, and activation of B-lymphocytes.

This antibody was raised by immunising mice against CD20.
Application Notes
CAT 13.6E12, as an anti-CD20 antibody, can be used to detect normal and neoplastic B cells in tissue sections as well as to identify CD20 via flow cytometry. This antibody was also recommended for treating primary intraocular lymphoma (WO2010076400A1).
