Recombinant Antibody
Specificity
This antibody binds human CD20. CD20 is a 33kDa tetraspanning transmembrane phosphoprotein which is expressed in pre B-cells. This B-lymphocyte-specific membrane protein plays a role in the regulation of cellular calcium influx necessary for the development, differentiation, and activation of B-lymphocytes. It also functions as a store-operated calcium (SOC) channel component promoting calcium influx after activation by the B-cell receptor/BCR.

Immunogen
The original antibody was generated by immunizing BALB/c mice with CD20-KLH conjugate in Freund's complete adjuvant.
Application Notes
This binding specificity of this antibody for human CD20 was checked using ELISA. This antibody positively binds human CD20-BSA in an ELISA. The affinity constant of the original IgG2b antibody was determined to be 3.07 × 10^10 M^(-1). This antibody can recognize human CD20 in an immunoblot assay. This antibody is similar to commercially available anti-CD20 antibody L26 in immunohistochemical staining of B cell lymphomas. This antibody was used in the immunohistochemical staining of B cell lymphomas, T cell lymphomas, tonsil tissue and appendectonic tissues (CN111363043).
