Application Notes
CD133 is used as a cancer stem cell (CSCs) marker in a variety of carcinomas. High affinity of the CD133-scFv-1, which detects CD133, was confirmed via competitive ELISA agianst a commercailly available antibody directed against the same epitope (Xia et al., 2013). Immunoblot and flow cytometry were performed to demonstrate the specificity of the CD133-scFv-1 antibody in PLC/PRF/5 cells (Xia et al., 2013).
