Cat. No.
MABL-664
Application
IP, WB, IF
Isotype
Engineer antibody
Species Reactivity
Human
Clone No.
NL-1
From
Recombinant Antibody
Specificity
This antibody reacts with human CD10. CD10 is a widely-expressed cell-surface metalloprotease, responsible for the cleavage of multiple peptide hormones at target tissues. CD10 is also a common marker for acute lymphocytic leukaemia.
Alternative Names
Neprilysin; Cluster of Differentiation 10; Membrane metallo- endopeptidase; MME; Neutral endopeptidase 24.11; Neutral endopeptidase; NEP; Common acute lymphocytic leukaemia antigen; CALLA; Skin fibroblast elastase; SFE; CMT2T; SCA43; Atriopeptidase; Enkephalinase
UniProt

Immunogen
BALB/c mice were immunised with acute lymphocytic leukaemia cells from a human leukaemia patient. Splenocytes were obtained from immunised mice and fused with MOPC-21 NS/1 myeloma cells to generate a hybridoma.
Application Notes
NL-1 was shown to react with several leukaemic cell lines using immune adherence assays (Ueda et al, 1982). These authors also confirmed that NL-1 is specific for CD10 using IP.
