Specificity
R11/E1 antibody recognizes human beta-2 adrenergic receptor. Beta-adrenergic receptors mediate the catecholamine-induced activation of adenylate cyclase through the action of G proteins. The beta-2-adrenergic receptor binds adrenaline with far grater affinity than noradrenaline.

Application Notes
This antibody is recommended for the detection and analysis of the beta-2 adrenergic receptor. It was successfully used in the in vivo phosphorylation assays during Western blot detections of beta-2 adrenergic receptor (Huang et al., 2009).
