Specificity
The antibody recognizes ATRX protein. ATRX protein is involved in transcriptional regulation and chromatin remodeling and it facilitates DNA replication in multiple cellular environments and is required for efficient replication of a subset of genomic loci.

The original antibody was generated by immunizing a mouse with the recombinant ATRX protein.
Application Notes
The antibody 20A2 and the commercial antibody TS1 were used to stain pancreatic neuroendocrine and cerebral gel tumors in immunohistochemistry. The results of the two antibodies were comparable and the staining intensity of the antibody 20A2 was higher than the commercial antibody (CN112940133A).
