Application Notes
8A1 antibody has been shown as an effective and specific antibody against conidium and basal region of Aspergillus fumigatus. It was used effectively in immunofluorescence experiments labelling distinct regions of the fungus (Momany et al., 2004). This antibody might be used to investigate the biology of Aspergillus fumigatus as well as potentially in other allergological applications associated with the A. fumigatus hypersensitivity.
