Specificity
This antibody was raised against A. castellinii but also reacts with A. polyphaga AC010. It reacts weakly with A. polyphaga AC010 and A. lenticulata AC230.

The antibody was raised by immunising BALB/c mice with 3x10^6 heat-treated A. castellanii trophozoites.
Application Notes
The antibody reacts with intact, unfixed A. castellanii AC112 cysts and trophozoites in flow cytometry (Turner et al, 2005).
