From | Recombinant Antibody |
Isotype | Engineer antibody |
Application | ICC, WB |
Species Reactivity | Rat, Mouse |
Basic Information | |
Specificity | This antibody is specific for exon 1a/5 junction of TRIP8b. TRIP8b is an accessory subunit of hyperpolarization-activated cyclic nucleotide-gated (HCN) channels, regulating their cell-surface expression and cyclic nucleotide dependence. |
Alternative Name | N291C/22R; PEX5-related protein; PEX5-like protein; Peroxin-5-related protein; TPR-containing Rab8b-interacting protein; Tetratricopeptide repeat-containing Rab8b-interacting protein; Pex5Rp |
UniProt | Q925N3 |
Immunogen | This antibody was raised by immunising BALB/c mice with a synthetic peptide amino acids 1- 12 (MYQGHMQLVNEQ, exon 1a (yellow) and exon 5 (green) of constant region) of mouse TRIP8b. |
Application Notes | This antibody is recommended for the detection and analysis of TRIP8b by immunocytochemsitry and western blot. For instance, the mouse version of this antibody was used to detect TRIP8b by western blot in extracts of COS cells transiently transfected with carboxyterminally (C) and amino-terminally (N) GFPtagged TRIP8b-1a-5, TRIP8b-1a-4 or untagged Kv2.1 plasmid. Furthermore TRIP8b was also detected by western blot in crude membranes from adult rat brain and WT and TRIP8b KO mouse brains probed with N291C/22 and N52A/42 TC supe. |
