From
Recombinant Antibody
Specificity
This antibody is specific for mouse CD27, which, as in the human system, is largely restricted to cells of the T cell lineage, and is expressed on the great majority of both αβ and γδ T lymphocytes, and thymocytes.
Alternative Names
TNFRS7; CD27L receptor; T-cell activation antigen CD27; Tumor necrosis factor receptor superfamily member 7
UniProt
P41272
Immunogen
This antibody was produced by injecting Armenian hamsters intraperitoneally with a mixture of two murine CD27 tag-expressing Armenian hamster fibroblast clones (AR0524 and AR0530) in Freund's adjuvant
Application Notes
This antibody is specific for murine CD27, and has been used to assess the distribution of CD27 expression using IF, FC and IP analysis (Gravstein, 1995). Upon cross-linking, this antibody has been shown to induce a 4-fold increase in T cell proliferation in response to suboptimal stimulation with concanavalin A (Gravestein, 1995), indicating that this antibody is able to mimic ligand binding.
