Application Notes
IB10 competes with IgE for binding to human FceRIa; consequently, its binding to mast cells and basophils is decreased when IgE concentration is high, but it does block IgE binding to these cells. IB10 and IE7 (Ab01397) do not crossblock each other's binding.

This paper desribes production and characterisation of the D9#3116 antibody (among other antibodies against canine IgE as well as IgG). Many tests to assess specificity and characterise the antibodies were describes in the article: the ability to cause reverse cutaneous reaction in dog skin, to neutralise Prausnitz-Kustner reaction of atopic dog serum, and binding to different Ig classes in ELISA tests.
