Basic Information

Specificity

This antibody recognises all mammalian homologs   of alpha tubulin, as well as detyrosinated alpha tubulin, a   post-translational modification of alpha tubulin.

This antibody was raised against alpha   tubulin (GEEEGE) in BALB/c mice.

Application Notes

This antibody has been used, as part of a   panel, in Western blot analysis of the distribution pattern of tubulin   subtypes in whole-cell lysates of human ovarian cancer A2780-TC1 cells   (Esteve et al, 2006) and of the proteins extracted from lentiviral-infected   Duchenne muscular dystrophy (Δ48–50) myoblasts (Incitti et al, 2010).
