Specificity
This antibody recognizes human transferrin receptor (CD71), which is a glycoprotein composed of disulfide-linked polypeptide chains. It is widely distributed on the cell surface of actively growing human cells. It is involved in the transport of iron and plays a role in the development of erythrocytes' and cell proliferation.

This antibody was raised by immunising mice with foetal liver cells.
Application Notes
