Specificity
The antibody is specific for CD19. Functions as coreceptor for the B-cell antigen receptor complex (BCR) on B-lymphocytes. Decreases the threshold for activation of downstream signaling pathways and for triggering B-cell responses to antigens.

The original antibody was generated by immunizing mice with CD19.
Application Notes
The antibody detected the recombinant CD19 by western blot analysis. The antibody was used to stain and analyze prostate tissue, B-cell lymphoma samples and tonsil B lymphocytes by immunohistochemistry. Further, immunohistochemistry staining from 26D3 antibody and the commercial antibody, LE-CD19, were compared. Results showed that the specificity of the 26D3 antibody in tumor tissue was equivalent to the commercial antibody, while sensitive and affinity were higher than the commercial antibody (CN103880960).
