Recombinant Antibody
Specificity
The antibody is specific for CD117. CD117 is a tyrosine-protein kinase that acts as cell-surface receptor for the cytokine KITLG/SCF and plays an essential role in the regulation of cell survival and proliferation, hematopoiesis, stem cell maintenance, gametogenesis, mast cell development, migration and function, and in melanogenesis.

Immunogen
The original antibody was generated by immunizing mice with CD117.
Application Notes
The antibody specifically detected CD117 protein in Western blot analysis. The antibody 33G5 and the commercial antibody YR145 were used to stain gastrointestinal stromal tumor tissue. Results showed the antibody specificity is comparable to the commercial antibody. Further, the sensitivity of the antibody 33G5 was higher than the commercial antibody. The antibody and the commercially available antibody YR145 were simultaneously detected on the normal tissue chip, indicating that the specificity of the antibody in normal tissue was equivalent to that of the commercially available antibody (CN113621064A).
