Basic Information | |
Specificity | FR4D11 antibody recognizes CD10. It is a cell surface enzyme with neutral metalloendopeptidase activity, which inactivates a variety of biologically active peptides. CD10 is expressed on the cells of lymphoblastic, Burkitt's, and follicular germinal center lymphomas, and on cells from patients with chronic myelocytic leukemia (CML). |
Alternative Name | Neprilysin; Atriopeptidase; Common acute lymphocytic leukemia antigen; CALLA; Enkephalinase; Neutral endopeptidase 24.11; NEP; Neutral endopeptidase; Skin fibroblast elastase; SFE; EC 3.4.24; EC 3.4.24.11; FR4D11/F3 |
UniProt | P08473 |
Immunogen | This antibody was raised by immunizing mice with Raji cells. |
Application Notes | FR4D11 antibody can be used to identify and analyse neprilysin (CD10) via various techniques. For instance, it was utilized in the localization of neprilysin in human cerebral cortex via immunohistochemistry (Akiyama et al., 2001). This antibody was also used during a FACS analysis and phenotype characterization of Breast Cancer Stem Cells (BrCSCs) (Petrelli et al., 2015). |

Note on publication | This article characterizes the FR4D11 antibody and uses it in the immunohistochemical investigation of neprilysin in the brain tissue. |
