The original antibody was generated using phage display technology by panning a combinatorial IgE library, derived from a donor who had previously been tested positive in skin prick testing to timothy extract, against timothy allergens.
Application Notes
The binding specificity of this antibody towards common timothy allergen phl p 2 was confirmed with ELISA (PMID: 17825890).
