Specificity
This antibody is capable of recognizing a membrane-proximal epitope in the B3 domain of CEA (CEACAM5, Cd66e), whereas it does not recognize shed CEA or soluble CEA as found in the circulation (PMID: 19904275; 7514303; 11517330).

Immunogen
This antibody was generated by immunising BALB/c mice. Splenocytes from immunised mice were obtained and fused with myeloma cells to generate a hybridoma.
Application Notes
EB-011 was used in ELISAs against CEA (CD66e) and NCA (CD66c) to show specificity of binding (unpublished data).
