Immunogen | The original antibody was generated by immunizing a mouse with a cytoskeletal preparation of TR146 epithelial cells. |
Application Notes | The antibody detected keratin-14 from cytoskeletal extracts were prepared from A431 and HaCaT cell cultures by western blot analysis. This antibody was used for immunohistochemistry studies of keratins on TR146, HaCaT and A431 cells. The antibody stained mostly basal (myoepithelial) cells (Wetzels et al., 1991; PMID: 1705754 and Smedts et al., 1992; PMID: 1379783). Further, the antibody stained mitochondria- rich cells (Spies et al., 1997; PMID: 9440221). |
